Falasarna

The beautiful beach of Falasarna  is located 59 km west of Chania and 17km . West of Kissamos in the western part of Peninsular Gramvousas . In the northern part of the beach are the ruins of the ancient Roman city of Falasarna. It has previously been awarded as the best beach in Crete and one of the 10 best in Europe. The sand is white , giving the water a tropical color. The main beach is called ” Paxia Ammos ” is exotic and wide sandy beach 1km in length . The beach umbrellas and a few bars as well as services for water sports and tennis Beach Volley. The area around Falaserna is magnificent and has been designated as a protected area Natura. Watch the sunset , which is considered the best in Crete.
