Malia
Malia is the most touristic town of Crete. Flooded every year by thousands of tourists and became known the nightlife. It has a long beach with many bars, restaurants and taverns. On the streets of Malia are many stores for shopping. For those who rent a car visit the archaeological place of Malia’s third largest Minoan palace in Crete , located at ” Chrysolakos ” east of the village . Near the palace have found traces of the old Christian basilica and a marble sarcophagus . North Malia about 15 minutes by car is the traditional village ” Krasi,” the huge tree in the village square , where 10 people in a row can not embrace the truck. The route for Krasi passes through a gorge which is full of oaks and carob trees . In Krasi you can drink your coffee in the square , eat in ouzo and walk the picturesque streets . In the village square there is a fountain with clean cold water none the less the time.
